at B.Loved Bridal

From the moment you walk into our shop, to your “yes” moment, through alterations to the final fitting - we are here for the entire process!

Alterations are done by our owner, Hanna! She is enthusiastic about a lot of things but one of the things she is most enthusiastic about is alterations and clothes fitting properly so that the client feels comfortable and confident in their clothes.

Bridal alterations require three fittings. The first one is usually about an hour in length, while the second and third fitting are about 30 minutes.

Our alterations service is open to the public! You don’t have to purchase your gown to use our alterations services.

We handle all kinds of alterations from bridal, to bridesmaid to mother-of-the-bride, to formal wear and casual wear.

The only thing we don’t currently alter is suit jackets! Everything else is fair game.

We also offer a mending service for your favorite pieces!

The Sewing Studio is currently open by appointment only Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. We are available on certain weekend days so if you prefer a Saturday or Sunday, please fill out the form below and we can let you know our availability!

  • Yes! If you have a favorite garment that’s ripped or needs patched, or needs buttons we are happy to help! We are also open to helping where we can so if you have something in mind, submit a form and we will see if we can help!

  • The Sewing Studio is located inside B.Loved Bridal Boutique at 36 West Gay Street in downtown, Columbus, Ohio.

  • Yes! Please reach out to us first with your desired alteration/mending/redesign project and we will get back to you. Once we’ve touched base we can schedule your first fitting!

  • Right now we are not offering alteration services on tailored suit jackets. So if your suit jacket has a lining we aren’t currently able to work on it.

now offering redesign services for vintage gowns

Do you have a gown that you’d like to rework?

Maybe you’d love to wear your mom’s (or grandma’s!) gown but you want to modify it? Or maybe you purchased a vintage gown and want to make some changes to it?

That’s where we come in!

You bring the dress (BYOD) and tell us your vision and we will work together to make it happen! You’ll meet one-on-one with B.Loved’s owner, Hanna, for an initial consultation to discuss your vision for the gown. If you think we’re a good fit then we will schedule the design consult and start the redesign process!
